As a certified Active Shooter Training Instructor, Matthew has equipped thousands of civilian government employees with the skills to respond effectively to crisis situations. His passion for teaching others how to stay safe is evident in his role as a Control Tactics Instructor, where he has mentored countless individuals in self-defense techniques.

Matthew’s unique blend of tactical expertise and empathy make him a valuable asset to the ACAP team. He is proud to be part of an organization that is committed to protecting students, educators, and school staff. Matthew lives on a ranch in the U.P. with his wife, Annie, two children, and his beloved dog. In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time outdoors.
