Marv Carlson is one of ACAP Solutions’ Security and Training experts. He is a retired Michigan State Police Trooper having served for 29 years. In addition to being a detective on the fugitive team, Marv was also a small squad tactics instructor, field training officer, back ground investigator, and member of the clandestine lab response (meth) team. Marv is also a veteran of the Army having proudly served his country as a military policeman. He currently lives in Northern Michigan with his wife Pam of 30 years. They have four children and one grandson. Marv currently works as a certified death investigator for the medical examiner’s office covering several counties in northern Michigan. Marv believes the nation is currently in the midst of a mental health crisis and wants to utilize his years of experience to provide security training and threat assessment to schools in Michigan. He believes children are our future and our most precious resource. With a daughter in high school and a grandson starting elementary school, Marv is passionate about keeping all children safe.
