JAMIE MEDLER

School Safety Consultant

Jamie is a former law enforcement officer, serving 12 years in Mid-Michigan communities.  During her law enforcement career, Jamie worked in road patrol, as well as assignments in the Detective Bureau and Undercover Narcotics.  Her public career culminated as Chief of Police in Edmore, MI.  Jamie enjoyed servicing the communities she worked in by participating in community events and visiting schools, libraries, and parks.

When life moved Jamie into marriage and family, she worked as a Forensic Interviewer and developed a strong support for child advocacy.  When Jamie’s twin children entered elementary school, so did Jamie.  She worked with at-risk students, individualized education plans (IEP), special education, and behavioral supports as a paraprofessional.

Jamie enjoys staying healthy, meeting new people, reading, and watching her children learn and grow.  She is making memories in Grayling with her husband, children and beloved family dog, Ted.
