CRAIG HAUGEN

Vice President of Educator Relations

Craig is a retired educator with 33 years as a teacher, Principal and Superintendent. He has a BA in Physical Education/K-12 Education from Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a MA in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. With 26 years of administrative experience, development, implementation and execution of Emergency Operations Plans, as well crisis intervention and support, have been a focus throughout his career. He continues his passion for the safety and well-being of students, serving as the Chair of the Monroe County Child Advocacy Network’s School and Community Safety Committee. The field of Education is a family business, as his mother, father, and two older sisters also enjoyed distinguished careers as teachers and administrators. Craig is an Education Consultant with Performance Contracting Owners Representatives, and he is also Owner/President of AMCA Consulting, LLC, providing leadership services in the areas of strategic planning, organization governance, student services, facility planning, and school safety. He lives in Temperance, Michigan, enjoys a variety of fitness activities, and riding his motorcycle.
