Emergency Management Expert

ACAP Solutions’ Safety Consultant, Ashlee Floyd, has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a focus on Public Safety and a Minor in Policy from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She also holds a Master’s of Science in Safety with OSHA and Homeland Security Certificates from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as a Master Exercise Practitioner Certification (MEP) from FEMA and her OSHA 40-Hour certification.

Ashlee has accumulated more than a decade of experience in the Public Safety field, encompassing roles in emergency management and homeland security at the state level, as well as Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA). During her tenure in Emergency Management, Ashlee was tasked with maintaining and creating different components for the State of Indiana’s District Task Force Program and Emergency Management Training Program, to include updating and developing in person and online trainings.  She has extensive background and expertise in creating and updating emergency management plans as well as site security plans both in the state and private sectors.

Ashlee currently resides in Danville, IN with her husband and 4 children, ages 13, 7, 6, and 3. She has been blessed to be able to work around her family priorities.
