Anthony Beattie is ACAP Solutions’ CEO and Protection Coordinator. Anthony is a retired police officer, with over 20 years of service in law enforcement, most at a city declining into one of the most violent in the nation. As an officer, he developed his expertise in crash investigation, adding commercial vehicle inspection, enforcement and investigation to that skill. The student attack at Columbine drove training across his department, evolving their every day tactics and response. Yet he did not see these changes in the way schools respond to incidents, evidenced in Parkland. Anthony began researching acts of violence and student crisis, and spends much of his time studying security as an ASIS member and PSP applicant. As the father in a blended family with 5 children, a Marine veteran, a bar tender, 2 college students, and a high school student, his passion for school safety comes from a personal drive to do the best we can for our children.
